Shannon Hinkhaus, our amazing Vice President, spoke at the Board of Education meeting on Wednesday March 12. Shannon joined the effort to help refocus the community’s efforts on contacting Annapolis senators can help bring CCPS the flexibility and common sense fiscal relief from the Blueprint mandates that are threatening to cripple many schools in the southern part of the county.
The messaging to an outraged group of parents, family members and teachers over the past couple of weeks has been unclear and unfortunately has led to rampant misinformation being shared on social media and emotional attacks filled with inaccurate information aimed at our commissioners.
Hopefully as more community leaders like Shannon work to get accurate information out, parents and teachers can have a clear path forward to advocate for their schools!
